Las Condes
Dunalastair Las Condes
Tradition that inspires. A future that is being built.
When you walk through the doors of Dunalastair Las Condes, you enter a place where history and innovation go hand in hand.
This is where it all began.
Since its re-establishment in 1981, our school has been synonymous with excellence, community and dreams fulfilled. First Luis Thayer Ojeda, then Jorge VI and Warren Smith, until in 1989 we reached an unforgettable milestone: the opening of our current school.
A space created for the students of that time… and which today continues to thrive with the same energy, adapted to the needs of the present.
Since 1992 onwards, every generation that has graduated from Las Condes has left its mark. More than 2,000 men and women who are now part of Old Dunalastair Students, carrying this seal with pride and affection in a world that is constantly changing.
A place where tradition is lived... and reinvented
Dunalastair Las Condes is our oldest location, the visible face of our tradition. A place that inspires learning beyond expectations, with spaces designed to enhance every talent:
- Spacious, technologically equipped classrooms that can be adapted to different learning dynamics.
- Fully equipped biology, chemistry and physics laboratories for experimentation and discovery.
- Fab Lab with 3D printer, cutter and laser printer, so creativity can take shape.
- Gym to strengthen body and mind, as well as enjoy great experiences such as the Houses competitions during our traditional School Week.
- Separate libraries for Senior and Junior School, encouraging reading and research.
- Co-Work specially designed for teamwork.
- Spacious, light-filled art rooms where ideas become works of art.
- Music rooms with a wide variety of instruments, from violins to drum kits.
- Auditorium with capacity for over 400 people, where major meetings, presentations and events take place.
- Playgrounds and recreation areas that encourage play, socializing and movement.
Early Childhood Centre: Where great journeys begin
In 2010, our Early Childhood Centre (ECC) was established, a place of dreams for the little ones. Here at Infant School, children aged 3, 4 and 5 find a safe, stimulating environment full of opportunities to learn through play. A place where early school experiences leave a lasting impression.
